Welcome to the 30 Squadron (RAF) Association Website

Hello and welcome to the 30 Squadron (RAF) Association website. Our aim is to provide an interesting place for members to visit on a regular basis and create a source of useful information that is easily accessible. We have a Forum where members can voice their opinions and exchange views on pretty much any subject they wish. This facility can be found by clicking on the ‘Message Forum’ button or you can simply click here.
Knowing what your ex-colleagues and friends are doing having left the Squadron is one of the main reasons members join the Association. To that end, we have a ‘Pals Reunited’ section that can be found on the right hand side-bar. For it to be successful we need contributions from you so all you need to do is fill in the appropriate webform with what you’ve been up to, press send and our webmaster will publish it as soon as he can – easy! Naturally, for security reasons, we do not publish your contact details so please read the notes on the webpage.
A big part of the Association and the main meeting time for members is the annual reunion. On the website you’ll find details of the next reunion, minutes of the last meeting and a photo gallery of characters in attendance.
For the future, we hope to have some details of the Squadron’s recent and current activities – nothing classified of course – and their mega move to RAF Brize Norton. Whilst on the subject of the Squadron, we are looking at way of getting the Squadron’s magazine, The Journal, published on the website
We need to save the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight!
We received an e-mail from Ron Wheatman pointing out that the BBMF is being considered for the chop in the next Defence Review paper. If you feel strongly about this, and many of us do, then read on by clicking here and sign the petition... If you've already signed the petition - great, but please ask other like-minded folk to do the same.
